Alkacitron is indicated for the following medical conditions:

• Kidney Stones: It helps dissolve existing uric acid crystals and prevents the formation of new stones by making the urine less acidic.
• Gout: It assists in lowering high uric acid levels in the blood, which reduces the risk of painful crystal formation in joints.

Mechanism of Action

Alkacitron works by increasing the pH of the urine, making it more alkaline. Disodium hydrogen citrate is metabolized in the body into bicarbonates, which are then excreted in the urine. How to Use & Dosage
